A Little Late...
...I finally got around to seeing A Single Man. Oh My. Edie has posted before about her love of Tom Ford and now after watching this film and especially the bonus feature, I am memorised and amazed by him. Such a touching film and such an intriguing director and creative force. I cant wait to see what he will do next.

Sweet & Girly
I adore this shot from the latest Mulberry campaign. The fun and girly vibe, is youthful and sweet, albeit a more grown up and sophisticated version of sweet.
It reminds me of the days when my girlfriends and I would all meet at someones house before a party to get ready together. Hair, make up, styling, pre-drinks - It was literally like the party before the party and I have to say, often the most enjoyable part of the night. What a shame that nights like these faded away with the onset of maturity.
Perhaps it's time to reintroduce the concept back into my life....

These Shoes in My Size Please
I must have been in seasonal denial because for a while there I was finding it incredibly hard to find a pair of boots that I liked, let alone wanted to blog about, but ever since the divine Valentino's the other week, it seems that all I can see now is boots.
These super sleek and cool Louis Vuitton boots totally knock it out of ball park, which is truly saying something since they're flats.
I love the colour- the perfect shade of beige- and the belt detail around the calf is brilliant.
These boots though, are definitely more of a Spring time look; for one trek in the rain would be enough to make a gal cry.

Kate Moss By Mario Testino
I'm going a little crazy trying to justify spending $500 just to own a piece of this creative genius.... It would surely be my coffee table book pride and joy- the ultimate in my collection.
It's so hard being a sensible, non-spending adult sometimes. I guess I just wait and hope it appears at my door step.

What A Wonderful Suggestion
Last night Lucia and I had the pleasure of attending a screening of the Bill Cunningham New York documentary as part of the Melbourne Film Festival.
I'm not going to lie, when Lucia emailed me suggesting that we go and see it- whilst I agreed because I trust her impeccable judgement- I had never even heard of Bill Cunningham.
More fool me, oh what I have been missing out on!
For those of you who have not heard of Bill Cunningham, I strongly suggest A.) you watch the documentary and B.) check out some of his genius street fashion photography in the style section of The New York Times.
My intention for this post however, is not to rave about the documentary (for you will see it for yourself), but to send a very special and heartfelt thanks to Lucia for being such a beautiful friend, with a gift for introducing me to all that I love, that I may have missed out on otherwise. Much love to your for that L. x

Natural Talent...
...I have spent countless hours in my life questioning how one gets to be good at certain things. Is it natural talent, or can you plug away and study for hours, practice and be just as good as those that seem to just 'get' things easily. Honestly after all these years I am leaning more and more towards the idea that you really do have to have natural talent, to be gifted in some way, to be truly good at something. These photos go a long way to proving this theory.

Have A Fab Week My Lovelies...
I can't believe it's August already. Mum was right all those years ago, as you get older it feels like time passes much faster. I feel like I need to make some plans for the next few months. Do you make mid year plans?
I'll let you ponder on that one for the week, much love xo

These Shoes in My Size Please
You cannot begin to understand the hunt I have been on for a photo of these shoes since I saw them on the Fall/Winter 2010/11 runway.
There were plenty of pictures floating around, but not of the exact colour combination I was dreaming of.
So it's with great excitement that I finally get to introduce you to the new love of my life: The Louis Vuitton Beauty Pump.
There is not one thing I don't truly adore about these shoes - The rich black velvet with a satin grey bow are perfect in contrast, the thick retro heel... I sense the beginning of a new trend in heel size. But my favourite part (and I'm sure this comes as no shock) is the Swarovski strass encrusted heel - love, love, L O V E.
And whilst I'm holding a vision of these shoes in my closet, I might just envisage this colour combination in there as well....
