Sweet & Girly

I adore this shot from the latest Mulberry campaign. The fun and girly vibe, is youthful and sweet, albeit a more grown up and sophisticated version of sweet.

It reminds me of the days when my girlfriends and I would all meet at someones house before a party to get ready together. Hair, make up, styling, pre-drinks - It was literally like the party before the party and I have to say, often the most enjoyable part of the night. What a shame that nights like these faded away with the onset of maturity.

Perhaps it's time to reintroduce the concept back into my life....

I'm so in love with this editorial I don't really know what to say. I mean....it's literally my favourite, EVER.

You will have to bare with me whilst I try to wrap my blogging around some not so cleverly crafted words, that I'm quite sure will fail to express how much I truly love these photos.

Ok, Abbey Lee Kershaw: beyond beautiful. The styling: boho rock insane genius. Her boyfriend Matthew Hutchinson: perfect couple. Magazine: Vogue (duh) Deutsch. Photographer Alexi Lubomirski: magic.

I don't know if it gets much more exciting than Abbey Lee Kershaw fronting Chanel's latest Fall 2010 campaign. 

Chanel + Abbey Lee + Karl Lagerfeld + New York = too many of my favourite things combined not to be crazy with excitement.

I need to see more....now. Like right now please.

Something So Charming

There is something so alluring and charming about Abbey Lee Kershaw. I feel like it's the vulnerability she displays in her photos, but then you hear/read her interviews and she's an incredibly strong, self assured woman who has a style so distinctly her own and that to me, is to be admired.

LOVE the new haircut and adore this editorial shot by Angelo Pennetta for the July issue of Vogue Nippon.

The styling and set location are beautiful and I simply must have the Chanel lariat necklace in the photo below - divine.
