One of Many Reasons To Live in New York City

(Images via Bergdorf Goodman)

If you grew up in Melbourne, chances are you've lined up at one point or another to view the Myer windows at Christmas time. Whilst pretty magical when you're young, they tend to loose their shine with maturity.
So where does one go when the Myer windows no longer cut it?

Well- if you're female, fashion obsessed (or not) and just a little bit in love with Sex and the City, you head to the Bergdorf Goodman windows on 58th Street, New York City!
Styled by Patricia Field and filled to the brim with all the designer labels, shoes and accessories you could dream of, it's the department stores tribute to this weeks release of Sex and the City 2.

Oh how I wish I was in NYC this week....allow SATC fever to take me over....
Because if you can't strut the streets, wearing an outfit so absurdly high fashion at a time like this, when can you?

These Shoes In My Size Please

It seems that with the help of Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicholas Kirkwood is the new 'shoe kid' on the block.
After reading an article on him in UK Vogue, I decided to spend a little time scrolling through his shoe archives - W.O.W! I mean I knew he made amazing shoes, but he's really brought shoe design to a whole new level.

Christian Louboutin popularised the hidden platform and now with his angular, curved version, Kirkwood has brought a whole new spin to it.

These shoes in my size wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen to a gal!

Sometimes It All Works Out...

I went to a new hairdresser yesterday (oh god I hope my old one is not reading this....sorry!) and had one of the most pleasant hair appointments I've ever had.  I can feel my new hairdresser and I will be firm friends. I'm not game enough to post a photo of my fabulous hair(i know i know that's a bold statement but hey I'm still on a hairdresser high) but its kinda something like Zooey Deschanel's but with a little less fringe.
Thanks for the recommendation Edie. xo

Another Round...

...of house hunting this weekend. Boring I know so I will think of rooms this bright and big and dream for the future to keep me sane.

Now This A Blonde I Could Like...

...I admit to not really paying that much attention to hairstyles that are styled using blonde hair.  Which is a dead giveaway that I'm a brunette. But this hair pic above is simple but stunning nonetheless.

Hello My Pretties...

...you are divine. I want to be wearing you.  I promise to even fake tan my leg just to make you happy.

My Head Hurts...

...because I can't for the life of me work out how this was done. It's a simulated swimming pool made by Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich. Crazy cool.

After perusing through one of my new favourite blogs; La Passion des Louboutins I had a thought, imagine how many pairs of Louboutins I would have if I had the money to buy every pair that my heart desired...I hazard a guess that I would be a modern day Imelda Marcos.

On that note, I share with you my latest Louboutin crush- the Clic Clac diamante and lace booties. Feminine and glamorous, my heart cries with their amazingness.

V.O.G.U.E

The June/July cover of Paris Vogue is potentially my most favourite Vogue cover, ever!
The same is to be said for the Kate Moss editorial, shot by Mario Sorrenti. With a sultry, bardot-esque glamour, it's fashion genius and simply divine.

I Can't Stop Looking...

A Healthy Obsession

(Images via Live Journal ; Ana)

Earlier this week Lucia touched on my new found obsession/admiration for Carine Roitfeld. Charismatic, self assured, chic and undeniably stylish she embodies everything I would love to be.
What impresses me most, is that unlike most Vogue editors, she still styles some of the editorials in Paris Vogue - amazing!
To pick only a few photos from her editorials was beyond hard, but after scanning through them there's no denying that she is the epitome of Parisian chic.

Bookshelf Love...

...Sometimes bookshelves can be too heavy but not this baby nestled amongst the clean white walls.  Love.

Have A Fab Week My Lovelies...

There has been a lot of talk about travel this week at work and to be honest, it is making me a tad sad. I don't think I will be travelling for a while, so instead I'll dream of past adventures and future possibilities. Much Love xx

Sweet Dreams

(Image via Google)

Now that Lucia and I have discovered my interior design style (Old Hollywood Glamour), I was super excited to find a photo of my perfect bed.
I can't imagine having anything but cosy nights and sweet dreams in a bed this wonderful.
