Starting To See A Picture...

...I had a great conversation about style and aesthetic and the idea of finding what your true aesthetic is.  After going through my look book I can see that collecting these images really does help narrow down your focus and get a better understanding of what you like.  So with that, this bedroom scene is a space that I find really calming and pleasant and something that I would happily live in.

Now that Lucia and I have discovered my interior design style (Old Hollywood Glamour), I was super excited to find a photo of my perfect bed. 

I can't imagine having anything but cosy nights and sweet dreams in a bed this wonderful.

I love a style challenge and finding Edie's house style is proving to be a lot harder than I imagined.  So while this is not 100% what I image Edie's bedroom to look like, I think the chandelier and mirror are getting close.  Stay tuned for more shots, I'm determined to find the perfect pic.

A while ago I came across this calm, clean bedroom image and I instantly fell for the idea of the pictures hung on the wall with a wire.  I've since done the same thing in my bedroom. It now such a pleasure to lie in bed on a sunday morning and glance at some of my favourite photos.

How stunning is this light display in Pia Bijkerk's Paris apartment.  Granted I have a soft spot for bedrooms with no traditional bedheads or side-tables, but seriously, how romantic is this room?
